The idea for the Import from China website originated in 2007. Back then, searching the internet for information on importing goods from China in Serbian yielded no results. This gap in information inspired the creation of www.uvozizkine.com.
Our goal was twofold: to dispel the mystery surrounding Chinese imports and to demonstrate the vastness and affordability of the Chinese market. We weren't some intangible entity; we were here to help!
Data collection for import procedures and Chinese company registration began in 2008. This meticulous process took two years to complete, and finally, on October 31, 2010, uvozizkine.com went live!

Knowledge as the foundation of success

A key differentiator for us, both domestically and internationally, is our team's formal education in the field of international trade. Mr. Glušac, an economics graduate, focused his final thesis on lobbying strategies within the People's Republic of China. Therefore, it is not surprising that he lives and works in China today. In addition to Chinese, Mr. Glušac is also fluent in English and German. Since he graduated in economics from an international university, his work was written in English.

One tourist visit to the People's Republic of China was enough for Josip Glušac to decide to live and work in this most populous country in the world, and he also became a very successful entrepreneur. Everything happened 12 years ago, in February 2009, when Josip landed at the international airport in Beijing with a return plane ticket and 1,000 euros in his pocket.

Serbian Investment Office in China

As part of the further development of China, an Investment Promotion Bureau was opened in the city of Sanya on Hainan Island.
The main tasks of the Bureau will include providing services for businesses and investment projects, establishing and managing investment connections and platforms both domestically and internationally, building and managing information systems for investment management, as well as promoting investments.
The Investment Promotion Bureau in Sanya will focus on helping the development of the tourism sector, modern high-tech services as well as highly efficient agricultural industry.
The bureau will provide guidance to companies in planning and designing projects and attracting investment.
China's ultimate goal is to make the entire island a free trade zone on a similar principle as Hong Kong.
This is among other things, the reason for our business relocation from Guangzhou to the city of Sanya.

Mr. Glusac holds a Master's degree in Economics, and his master's thesis focused on "How to Lobby in the People's Republic of China."
Currently, our best-selling products in China are Croatian red and white wines.
A cooperation and distribution protocol for Croatian wines in China (Hebei Province) was signed at a formal ceremony at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in China. His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to China, Mr. Dario Mihelin, attended the contract signing ceremony.
