Since we often get questions on these topics

We would like to point out the following

  1. When purchasing from China as a private individual, be aware that you cannot buy goods in bulk; you are limited to ordering a maximum of 1 to 2, or at most 3 pieces of the same product. If you order more than that, at customs it is considered that the goods are for further resale and you need papers from the company that is the importer, since you don't have the papers you will be left without money and without goods!

  2. We are unable to assist you if you purchased goods from China on your own and received items such as sand, stones, a reduced quantity, damaged products, or similar issues instead of what you paid for. In that case, the only option available to you is to reach out to the appropriate official authorities.

  3. Customs clearance is not included in our services for imports. All goods are cleared according to the customs tariff of the country into which they are imported. You can find links to laws and customs tariffs of all countries in the region at clearance of goods. How much it will cost you to import a product, see an example in the text Guide for importing from China - customs when importing from China

  4. We will never ship branded goods, replicas, or counterfeit products, as this is prohibited and strictly punishable. Please do not request such items!

Introducing

Alibaba

Alibaba is the first Chinese internet company to become globally recognizable. Alibaba was founded by Chinese English teacher Jack Ma. Together with 17 co-founders, in 1998 he launched the Alibaba Online portal, which became the largest online market. The basis of the business are the websites www.alibaba.com and www.alibaba.cn. It all started from there.

Alibaba Group

Sites of Chinese companies

It is known that a company's website, especially if it is only a presentation on one of the bigger sites like Alibaba, is absolutely not enough. The company you want to work with simply has to have its own unique website. That is why only companies with a personal presentation can be found on our website. We present links to over 10,000 Chinese companies.

Chinese companies

  • Non-working days in China for 2025

    Year of the Snake
The General Office of the State Council issued a statement on November 12, 2024, regarding holidays in 2025. Compared to 2024, the number of public holidays for all citizens has been increased by two days, specifically one extra day for Chinese New Year and another for May 1.
According to the announcement, in 2025, the Spring Festival will have eight days off, the Labor Day holiday will last five days, and National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival have been combined, offering eight days off together.
According to the Western calendar for 2025, Chinese New Year falls on January 29, 2025, and lasts until February 16, 2026. During this period, the Chinese zodiac marks the start of the Year of the Snake — more specifically, the Year of the Wood Snake.
  • Online Scams

Internet scams and how to prevent them
Internet scams and how to prevent them

Motivated by a recent phone conversation in which we were asked to recommend a reliable seller on Aliexpress, we decided to write this text.

We actually don’t use Aliexpress simply because it’s not accessible from China – Chinese buyers actually have no way to access this platform. Another caller asked if they should buy an excavator from Alibaba, which was selling for €200.
We can’t help you if you think this way! Ask yourself – is that even possible?
But that’s not the reason for writing this text.
We are writing because, in a relatively short period, we received three emails (from Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia), in which people complain about being scammed in one way or another.
What all three letters have in common is that the buyers made purchases independently, without involving us.
    Here are those letters.

  • Flights from Belgrade to Guangzhou

    AIR Serbia
As reported by numerous media in Serbia, Serbia established a direct air line between Belgrade and Guangzhou in the People's Republic of China yesterday on flight JU988 at 00:20.
Flights between Belgrade and Guangzhou will be operated twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays, with Airbus A330-200 aircraft from the Air Serbia long-haul fleet, the Serbian national airline announced.
As stated, Air Serbia will fly to Guangzhou twice a week and Chinese companies twice a week, that is, there will be a total of four flights a week, and the establishment of a direct line to Shanghai is expected soon.
  • Tariff Confrontation

    Tariffs on goods from China
Former US President Donald Trump was the first to impose high tariffs, i.e. taxes paid by Americans, on solar panels, vehicles and a wide range of other items made in China.
After that, the Biden administration decided to maintain these tariffs and even increase some of them — including solar panels, batteries, computer chips, steel and aluminum.
In addition, President Biden quadrupled tariffs on electric vehicles from China — from 25% to 100% — a move designed to boost US jobs and manufacturing.
"I am determined that the future of electric vehicles in America is made by unionized workers. Period!" Biden said.
