Speaker 4 (00:00): This is a program from China Radio International. Industrial Compass Speaker 2 (00:19): Internet In addition to the ongoing industrial and trade exchange between China and Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other republics of the former Yugoslavia, more and more Internet platforms have been opened to support their economic cooperation. As a result of the growing needs for people-to-people knowledge and better cooperation, these platforms greatly help strengthen the bond between China and the Republic of the former Yugoslavia. In the continuation of today's industrial compass, we will present you the website veb.uvozizgine.com and konvezizgine.com, which also represents our today's interlocutor, Miroslav Mihić. In addition, we will present you the Chinese corner, that is, the Chinese corner of the Belgrade industrial complex. It is about a special part of the Belgrade industrial complex, with the help of which industrialists in the continuation of the program can get important information about industrial cooperation with China and data from home. Speaker 5 (01:37): The Belgrade Industrial Complex, which in cooperation with the Serbian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises Speaker 2 (01:45): in the capital of Serbia, gathered representatives of 46 companies from Taiwan on its internet portal, and recently there is also China Corner, or China Corner. This small internet platform provides basic information about cooperation opportunities with the People's Republic of China. Speaker 3 (02:11): He was appointed to better represent the economy of Serbia, its investment potential, as well as to overcome the barrier to cooperation for the needs of Serbian and Chinese entrepreneurs. The Chinese corner of Spremanija writes further in Missa and these pages, to assume the role of a bridge between these two countries and to insist on establishing contacts between Chinese and Serbian entrepreneurs, as well as to promote business cooperation and discover new business opportunities. The ultimate goal is to build business platforms for the cooperation of Chinese and Serbian entrepreneurs, with full support in the implementation of this cooperation. Speaker 2 (02:58): The activities of the China Corner are providing information related to investments and local opportunities, assistance in understanding legislation, government regulations and the banking system, consultations on investments in China and Serbia, getting to know the value of investments in both countries, to to research the market, to provide assistance in the implementation of invitations, to assist in the registration of companies and to help in the establishment of business opportunities, such as the acquisition of Serbian entrepreneurs who are already working with the People's Republic of China, for the exchange of experiences and support. This small internet platform is edited and managed by Sanja Vasić from the public relations department of the Belgrade Chamber of Industry, who is also our current coordinator. Speaker 3 (03:59): Where did the idea come from to establish an internet platform on the website of the Belgrade Chamber of Industry for obtaining data on economic cooperation with companies in the People's Republic of China? Speaker 7 (04:11): The idea comes from the president of the Chamber of Industry of Belgrade, Dr. Milan Janković, who is very interested in Serbian companies in cooperation with business partners and entrepreneurs of the People's Republic of China. So this idea is imposed. Speaker 3 (04:32): How often do Serbian entrepreneurs and representatives of Serbian companies contact you and how often do they ask for information about China and the Chinese economy? Speaker 7 (04:45): Almost every day we receive several e-mails related to various aspects of doing business with Chinese entrepreneurs and with questions related to various information related to the Chinese market. Speaker 3 (05:02): What are your sources? Where do you get information about the economy of the People's Republic of China? Speaker 7 (05:07): The private chamber of Belgrade, that is, the Chinese section, signed agreements on cooperation with the Chinese chambers. In fact, in China they are called the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. We have excellent contact with them. We have signed a cooperation agreement with the chambers of Beijing, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. So, all major cities of China are representatives. So if we have any request and we are in some trouble because we need the support of a Chinese partner, we get the information directly from these Chinese institutions. Speaker 3 (05:48): That little section on the website, actually the internet platform, is called China corner or China corner. Do you want to extend this type of service to your companies in Serbia? Speaker 7 (06:01): Of course, we practically follow market demand and adapt to it, because we exist to provide services to Serbian companies that want to enter the Chinese market, but also as support to foreign partners that want to develop in Serbia and Belgrade . Speaker 2 (06:28): Two sessions in Serbia are dedicated to the deep work of small and medium enterprises or partnership with the People's Republic of China. We are talking about the business internet platforms www.uvozizkine.com and www.kubovinaizkine.com. The two social media platforms are edited and managed by the president Miroslav Mihić, who is of the opinion that these sites specialized in cooperation with the Chinese economy came precisely because of the set in which he had to invest it for the sake of the introduction work. On these sites, it is possible to find government documents, explanations about the price policy of Chinese companies, trade offers, service offers from China, information about products and companies, information about Chinese embassies in Serbia and other republics of the former Yugoslavia, general information about China, the current list of yuan in relation to Serbia and other currencies in the region, etc., as well as unavailable data in other media. Speaker 3 (07:47): www.kupovinaizkine.com, unlike its big brother, www.uvozizkine.com which mainly supports bulk purchases, helps to buy Chinese goods in small quantities using online shopping services from China. For example, the new Internet platform provides complete data on the Chinese online shopping website Taobao with complete instructions on how to use it. In addition to the Taobao site, you can also find online shopping information on this Internet platform through other major Chinese sites, such as Tmall, Zhouiou, and 360bi.com and others. Since this year, the site has been in agreement with the trading company Guangzhou Gabriel Import-Export Company. The company is located in Guangzhou, one of the leading industrial cities in China. The main activity of the company is assistance in purchasing goods from China. The owner and founder of the company is Mr. Josip Glušac, so all contracts on procurement, inspection, purchase of goods and other visitors to the site can be performed in the Serbian language. Speaker 2 (08:48): Miroslav Mihić, the editor of these two sites, talks about his business point of view on the connection between the Serbian and Chinese economies with Chinese international radio. Speaker 3 (09:06): How did you come up with the idea to start a website promoting trade with the PRC? Speaker 6 (09:14): I came up with the idea because I wanted to help one of my friends who wanted to bring something from China. He didn't know much about it, and I didn't know much about it, so I tried to find something about it on the Internet, and I could find very little information on the Internet. And then, everything I learned, during the first import, I consolidated one site. And I expanded it a little bit, and that's how I got the idea to start a website with China.com. Speaker 3 (09:43): What can you tell us, who are the most frequent visitors to your site and what people are looking for information when it comes to trade with China? Speaker 6 (09:52): Well, there are various people, those who are interested in the price, to see how it is possible that it is so cheap, but there are also serious people who want to buy goods in containers, to import goods in containers. So that's a big deal. Speaker 3 (10:11): Tell me what characterizes trade with China in Serbia? What should people from Serbia do if they want to import something from China? Speaker 6 (10:20): Well, people want to do something here, to buy from China, but they don't know what they want. I am often asked what sells well here. I really don't know what to tell them, to decide what they want to buy from China. There are no rules. People order everything. Speaker 3 (10:45): So, people from Serbia have no idea what they want to buy in China, they don't know what the Chinese market looks like. Can we say that? Speaker 5 (10:56): Yeah, that's about it. Speaker 3 (10:58): How do they react to the details of the regulations when they read on your website? Do you have information? Is it too complicated for them? Are they having a hard time? Do they want it simplified? How do they react to that part? Speaker 6 (11:12): Well, I had no problem with that. Nobody was sorry about that. How many people from Serbia are interested Speaker 3 (11:24): in learning about the possibilities of importing from China? Chinese citizens mostly sell Chinese goods in Serbia. Speaker 6 (11:32): About 10,000 people visit my website every month. This moment. Speaker 3 (11:37): Do you have any support when it comes to that site? Do you cooperate with the Chinese Embassy or other government agencies? Speaker 6 (11:47): Absolutely not. This is my independent project. The only thing I have contact with are some Chinese companies that work on the import and export of goods. Those are the only institutions I cooperate with, the only companies I cooperate with. Speaker 3 (12:08): Where did you get the information? What sources do you have? There is a large amount of data related to the trade exchange between Serbia and China. Where did you find that information? Do you have Chinese sources? Speaker 6 (12:22): The largest number of sources are official data from Serbian and other countries in the region. Something familiar from your site is news, because there is very little information related to China and this region. But only through your website, whether it is the version for Serbia or the Croatian region. So these are the sources from which the information is gathered. Speaker 3 (12:54): How do you explain this lack of information, given that trade between Serbia and China is growing every day? Why is there so little information, and citizens need that information? Speaker 6 (13:07): I really don't know, and that's a big problem. There is really very little information about China, about trade with China, about the chances of Chinese industry. I don't know how to explain that this is our problem in general. We have seen that in some countries that are close to us, but we do not think that everything has decreased and that China is now close to us. Speaker 3 (13:39): Will your websites try to bring together Serbian entrepreneurs who would invest in China or who would sell their products in China so that we would have one counter direction not only of imports from China, but also of exports from Serbia to China? Speaker 6 (13:54): I would like that, but I can't say that it will be like that. The only thing I can say is that we started cooperation with Mr. Josip Glušec. We opened a company in China through which we could market goods from our suburb to China. We are trying to direct some exports from here to China. We'll see if we succeed in that. This is a program of China Radio International. Speaker 3 (2:35 p.m.): In mid-September, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Beijing was held in Beijing on the promotion of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, in addition to excellence, was also attended by Mr. Amel Kovačević. Erdal Trhulj, entity minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in charge of mining and energy industry, presented his new website bhmbesichina.com. At the time it was presented, it represented a great, well-organized and designed internet platform that very clearly and easily provided the most important information about Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the conditions for employment in the People's Republic of China. . So, as a very useful source of information, he used all entrepreneurs from the area of the former Yugoslavia. In addition to the modern design of the website of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it was said at the time, it also contained translations of the competition into Chinese, as far as potential Chinese investors are concerned. The Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Serbia from Banja Luka is also very active on the Internet, which is paying more and more attention to industrial cooperation with the People's Republic of China. This is not surprising as this entity has a registered legal industrial center in China. We are talking about the company Bokit Milica, which has been successfully operating on the Chinese market for years, so it is expected that the Ministry of Industry of Serbia, as well as the government of this entity, will pay even greater attention to cooperation with the People's Republic of China and on the Internet. Speaker 2 (16:09): In addition to these online media platforms in other ways for China-Serbia cooperation, there is also a truce. Let's focus. The Radio Division of Serbia and the Central Chinese Division signed this cooperation agreement, which foresees the exchange of programs and interpersonal cooperation and assistance in work. Speaker 3 (4:34 p.m.): Chinese television has requested programs from the Radio Division of Serbia through which it would introduce its viewers to the geography, culture and economy of Serbia, since interest in Serbia has grown in China, so it will soon complete good political relations with the growing industrial cooperation between China and Serbia. This cooperation enabled the viewers of the Public Service of Serbia Govornik 2 (16:58): to watch documentaries about natural beauty, culture and its monuments and the history of the most populous countries in the world. Chinese television established cooperation as a concrete application of the strategic cooperation that China and Serbia concluded in 2009. Speaker 5 (17:25): China Central Television Speaker 2 (17:27): China Central Television China Central Television is trying to become the first distributed media in the world to achieve this goal. We need to take the successful experiences of other countries and learn what is good from other cultures. The Serbian people have a great history and culture. That is why we signed the agreement, because we have to learn from the Serbian people, from Serbia, which has a very bad history. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Government, CCTV, Zhu Tong, on the occasion of the signing of the agreement. Speaker 3 (18:01): Radio-television of Serbia has the ambition to cooperate with all large and serious television companies in the world, and it is nice to start this cooperation with one such television, such as China Central Television, which broadcasts its program in 140 countries. and has 80 subscribers worldwide. One of those subscribers who has recently been working in Belgrade said that the Deputy Head of the Government of the RTS news program, Nenad Ljo Stefanović, expressed the hope that, thanks to the agreement, Radio-television of Serbia will soon get subscribers in Beijing, i.e. as well as in a serious house like RTS. Speaker 5 (18:48): What are your plans for the future? First of all, everything that Branko and I prepared Speaker 2 (18:53): in today's industrial compass. We are confident that we will be grateful for the efforts of the people who invested in the city bridges of cooperation between China and Serbia, China and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as other republics in the region, to provide more space for their economic and trade cooperation, as well as cooperation in other spheres. Dear listeners, the next 10 minutes are reserved for the Chinese language radio lesson, and after a while, relax and enjoy the beautiful songs. Speaker 1 (19:41): Thanks for watching!
